Kaleva Island Lodge is near the mid-continent
of North America in the Arrowhead Region of northern Minnesota.
The main approaches to the Lodge are U.S. Highway 53 from the North
and South and U.S. Highway 169 from the West. Approaches from the
east (the north shore of Lake Superior) are less direct but can
be made from Two Harbors and Duluth. State Highway 37 (also know
as the Hibbing cutoff), which connects with U.S. Highway 169 at
Hibbing and U.S. Highway 53 about 5 miles south of Eveleth, is the
direct highway access to Kaleva Drive, the island road.
